Jin Shin Jyutsu Origins

Welcome to this exploration of Jin Shin Jyutsu. The story begins here with
The Unfolding Story of Jin Shin Jyutsu, in the Spirit of Master Jiro Murai, Volume 1.

Originating in the vision of Master Jiro Murai, this practice has continued to evolve through the hands and understanding of those who study, practice, and live it. Volume 1 is the first in a series offering a contemporary interpretation of that unfolding story, making its principles clear, relevant, and connected to the world we live in today.

What is Jin Shin Jyutsu?

Jin Shin Jyutsu (仁神術) is a Japanese manual practice method codified by Master Jiro Murai in 1942. This practice uses specific, noninvasive hand placements to harmonise the body’s natural energy flows—Ki Eki (vital nerve energy) and Tai Eki (body fluids)—restoring balance and supporting overall well-being.

This book is a labour of love and an expression of my deep respect for the Japanese art of Jin Shin Jyutsu. As someone who has studied and lives this practice, I am honoured to share this contemporary interpretation with you. May it bring clarity and inspiration as you explore this art.
